Review: Emirates’ New 777 First-Class Suite From Dubai to Brussels

By Zach Honig on Dec 05, 2017 08:00 am
Emirates' new 777-300ER is the best first-class product I've ever flown. The Pros: Incredible design, unmatched privacy, tech features galore, fantastic catering, impressive lounge in Dubai. The Cons: No award availability, but that could always change.

Hotel Review: Standard Double at the Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco

By Otis Wright on Dec 04, 2017 07:00 pm
As bland as it might be (and it'll remind you of making forts out of refrigerator boxes), this Hyatt Centric is in a great location for first-time tourists to San Francisco. Pros: It's only two blocks away from Fisherman's Wharf's commercial strip and within walking distance of North Beach and Coit Tower, and has friendly, helpful staff. Cons: Fisherman's Wharf can grow wearisome quickly unless you have kids, and the hotel lacks more than the basic services, or much character.

Here’s the Best Free Upgrade Any American Airlines Elite Can Get

By JT Genter on Dec 04, 2017 06:30 pm
Imagine preparing yourself — mentally and physically — for an almost-seven-hour flight in a standard, cramped economy seat, when suddenly you hear your name being called over the loudspeaker to alert you that your upgrade cleared. You’re still on the same flight, but now you get to travel in a lie-flat business class seat with ...

Supreme Court Allows Trump Travel Ban to Go Into Effect

By Otis Wright on Dec 04, 2017 04:50 pm
The Supreme Court has ruled that the Trump administration’s ban on travel into the US from six countries with majority-Muslim populations can go back into effect while lower courts consider several legal challenges to the federal policy. Two justices, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor, dissented from the ruling, which overturned lower courts’ injunctions and ...

Get Access with Amex Platinum at Art Basel in Miami

By The Points Guy on Dec 04, 2017 04:00 pm
The Platinum Card from American Express is one of my favorite credit cards for many reasons: Delta and Centurion lounge access, $200 airline credit to cover incidental fees, up to $200 annual Uber credits, Global Entry, an unbeatable 5X points on airfare purchases — I could go on.
